Good afternoon! I am very pleased to invite you to the next installment in our Distinguished Speaker Series, which will take place on Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 4-6 p.m. at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Isla Verde. Our guest will be Professor John Stauffer, who serves as Chairman of the History of American Civilization Program at Harvard. Professor Stauffer is renowned as one of the most popular speakers of the HAA's speakers bureau program, so this is a can't miss event!
The title of Professor Stauffer's speech is GIANTS: The Parallel Lives of Frederick Douglass and Abraham Lincoln, which is based on his award-winning best-selling book bearing the same title.
