We are very pleased to invite you to our next Harvard Club of Puerto Rico event: A Conversation with Ric Elias.

The event will take place on  Tuesday, October 18, 2022, in the Entrepreneur Room of the AC Marriott Hotel in Condado. Please note: the event starts at 6 pm.

Put simply, Ric's journey is one of the most inspiring success stories of our time.

Ric was born and raised right here in Puerto Rico. He then studied and graduated from Boston College and Harvard Business School. Today, he serves as the CEO of Red Ventures, a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of fast-growing digital companies, and as the founder of Forward787, a social enterprise committed to raising and deploying $100 million to build businesses in Puerto Rico that compete with the world's top companies.

Pretty great, isn't it?

And yet, if that's all you knew about Ric, you would really miss out on -- as the late, great Paul Harvey used to say -- the rest of the story.

Ric Elias was a passenger on Flight 1549, also known as the "Miracle on the Hudson."

That's right. The Captain Sully flight.

Ric survived that flight. The event changed his life.

He made a famous Ted Talk about it: 3 Things I Learned While My Plane Crashed.

You can watch it here: https://www.ted.com/talks/ric_elias_3_things_i_learned_while_my_plane_crashed

The story of Ric Elias is not just simply a story of success.

Ric Elias somehow found a way to pivot after a life-altering event and figured out how to lead a purpose-driven life.
